Airtel 3G Settings Configuration For Android

Airtel 3G services can be activated on Android platform by using the following steps and settings.

Step 1 : How to activate 3G in Airtel

Airtel 3G services can activated by using the following codes.

SMS 3G to 121
or
Call 12134

To start 3G services in Airtel simply send an SMS with content 3G to 121.

You can also call 12134 to activate 3G in Airtel.

To deactivate 3G from Airtel send sms 3G to 121.



Step 2 : Airtel APN For 3G / 2G / GPRS

To access 2G / 3G internet through Airtel, use the APN : airtelgprs.com

To get the settings automatically on your phone, Send an SMS with content “MO” to 54321 and the settings will be sent to you auomatically

Access number - *99***1#
Username - [blank]
Password - [blank]
Authentication type - normal
Proxy - Disable
Proxy address - 0.0.0.0
Port - 8080
Data Bearer - GPRS or PACKET DATA

go to SETTINGS
go to WIRELESS & NETWORKS
go to MOBILE NETWORKS
select options, add new APN
