Responsibilities
Identify business improvement opportunities, contribute to product vision and strategy, drive business requirements, project impact measurement and tracking.
Initiate, organize, prioritize, and manage technical projects and programs involving cross-functional teams, including PQO and Product Engineering teams.
Act as the technical and business expert while working collaboratively to break down barriers across groups, and get buy-in to launch successful products and iterate.
Work with PQO Anti-Abuse Engineering and internal clients (e.g., Operations, Engineering) to track and communicate product development progress and/or risks, and to develop product launch plans.
Advocate PQO infrastructure tools, systems, and overall Engineering initiatives and build prototypes and pilots for tools, including analysis of product and policy changes to make sound recommendations.
Minimum qualifications
BS degree or relevant experience in Computer Science, statistics, or related technical field (with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature) or equivalent practical experience.
Project management experience, and experience with agile methodologies.
Experience working in collaboration with software engineers.
Preferred qualifications
Solid experience and track record of successful implementations utilizing multiple project management methodologies, tools and techniques as well as business negotiation skills.
Experience in numerical analysis, algorithms and data-mining.
Experience in Internet-based risk, abuse, fraud and/or security.
Experience managing cross-functional teams, and cross-team technical projects through evaluation and analysis of data and business needs.
Experience designing software products and managing the full lifecycleconception to deployment.
Familiarity with one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript or Python, with excellent knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, HTML).
